Gentle and Effective
Self-Worth Recovery
for Tender Hearts
A nervous system informed approach to healing is based in the idea that tender nervous systems unwind in environments of connection, validation and compassion.
Let's start with what we know. Your nervous system's job is to protect you. It protects you by learning from the past, and mobilizing a protective response when it senses danger. This is all normal, healthy and wonderful!
Here's the problem. This protective response happens in your brain and body, and it's automatic so that you don't even know that it's happening. If you only focus on mindset thought or behavior change, and leave out the nervous system part, then you're missing an enormous piece of what underlies deep and sustainable change, and completely unwinding and healing.
The Solution. A feeling of safety is the first necessary ingredient for healing a tender nervous system. Because that allows your nervous system to remain in a state where healing and transformation can actually unfold. Connection, validation and compassion support that felt sense of safety.
This kind of healing can impact the whole world.
My Vision:
We believe that women have the capacity to use the wisdom which comes from stress and pain to transform themselves, their families, organizations and communities. By supporting this process, we believe that the entire world can become stronger, wiser, kinder and more creative.
My Mission:
I aim to facilitate your realization of unshakable safety and empowered agency by learning to befriend and trust your physical and emotional sensations.
I use mind, body and soulful tools to build embodied resilience to current and previous stress, and move towards freedom and happiness.
